Vanilla Cake Batter Protein Pudding

Vanilla is so underrated. I get it – chocolate is king, but sometimes I feel bad for vanilla. It never did anything wrong to be second place all the time. I used to turn my nose up at vanilla, opting for chocolate every single chance I could. But after this vanilla cake batter protein pudding, I may be officially converted.

This protein pudding tastes exactly like vanilla cake batter! But it's healthy! Creamy vegan vanilla cake batter protein pudding.

Let’s rewind a few years decades – remember when mom would make a boxed cake and you begged her to let you lick the mixer beaters? Remember that cake batter taste on your tongue? Ah the taste of childhood. #nostalgia.

If you were like me and would have gladly drank the cake batter verses eating the actual cake, ooooh do I have a treat for you! But wait wait wait, a healthy treat! A squeaky clean vanilla cake batter protein pudding. Get this – only ONE gram of sugar and over 30 grams of protein in one cup. WOAH. The best part (aside from the taste)? A pudding that is made with a diverse blend of plant-based protein sources. What does that mean? In a nutshell, no junk and no crazy unpronounceable ingredients. Pure, delicious, and perfect for post-workout recovery or a high-protein snack.

This vegan protein pudding has a rich, vanilla cake batter flavor. So creamy and delicious - made with the best sources of plant-based protein!

Combine Kashi’s® new GoLean™ Vanilla Vinyasa Protein Powder with rich cashew butter, creamy almond milk, fresh vanilla bean and viola, the best dang pudding that rivals any traditional recipe (chocolate included). This ‘should-be-sinful-but-isn’t’ protein treat is not only vegan and gluten free, but it also packs a huge probiotic punch – with one billion CFU probiotics to support inner balance. Namaste Kashi, namaste.

The line of Kashi® GoLean™ Protein Powders  can be purchased online at Target.com. And even though I firmly believe that vanilla is where it’s at, Kashi offers other flavors like matcha tea mantra and of course (you guessed it) dark cocoa powder.

Kashi GoLean™ Protein Powder - found at Target.com

Interested in trying for yourself? Well YEAH because I know you can’t resist cake batter! AND you can’t resist a good deal (I know it’s true). To get this awesome deal, type TGTKASHI for $10 off one Kashi Protein Powder (Kashi® GoLean™ or Kashi® Organic).

Protein powder – CHECK. Now for the easiest breakast/snack/dessert recipe everrrrrr…

To make this vanilla cake batter protein pudding simply combine 2 scoops of Kashi® GoLean™ Vinyasa Vanilla Protein Powder with one cup almond milk, 1/3 cup cashew butter, and the seeds from one vanilla bean pod (because the more vanilla, the better). To get the seeds, gently cut the pod vertically to open the top side, then using the back of your knife, gently scrape out the inside of the pod. This is where the jackpot of vanilla goodness is stored. Discard the skin and add the fine vanilla seeds to the mixture.

Fresh vanilla bean makes this cake batter protein pudding SO full of rich, vanilla flavor.

Chocolate got nothin’ on vanilla with this recipe. I love having a few spoonfuls as a post meal dessert, or try adding it to oatmeal in the morning. It’s perfect for post-workouts too! And with Kashi® GoLean™ Protein Powder’s clean ingredient list, you can feel good about fueling your bod with this delicious treat.

Rich and creamy vanilla cake batter protein pudding. Made with Kasha GoLean protein powder, cashew butter, vanilla milk, and fresh vanilla bean.

It’s time to up your protein game and try this vanilla cake batter protein powder ASAP!

It’s so thick and delicious looking; I could go for a bowl of protein filled vanilla pudding. 🙂 This would be such a good dessert, and wow Chrissa, that’s amazing that you got a recipe up, because I know that you’ve had your hands full with a new baby and sleep deprivation. You amaze me! 🙂 You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!

INTERESTING. I’ve never had healthy cake batter before… and especially one that didn’t have the risk of salmonella in it. What is life without such risks? 😉
Just kidding, hehe, but this looks great. I love the addition of the vanilla bean, so authentic!!

LOL my mom would always be like “One lick! Then no more – it has raw eggs in it!” But I guess I like living on the edge. Total risk taker. 😉 Thanks girl – you gotta give this one a whirl!
