Paleo Plantain Pinwheels

29 Jan

If you didn’t grow up having pinwheel appetizers at parties, then I either feel sorry for you or I envy you. Cheese and meat with a variety of fixings, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla, hypnotizing you with that circular pattern to take a bite (or nine). It’s like the most epic, easy, colorful, and FUN party appetizer of all time. However, highly addicting. Like, “maybe I wish these never existed because I.can’t.stop” kind of sentiments. But pinwheels are BACK and in a big, paleo, dairy-free, grain-free, guilt-free kind of way. Introducing paleo plantain pinwheels.

These paleo plantain pinwheels are dairy-free, grain-free and packed full of sweet and savory flavors. A perfect appetizer for your next party!

My recipe for these beauties is featured on the amazing blog, Cook Eat Paleo. For the list of ingredients and the step-by-step directions, click here.

These gluten-free plantain pinwheels are filled with savory roasted red pepper cashew cream, basil, and prosciutto

Pinwheels are the perfect Super Bowl/grill-out/work potluck/book club/’just because’ appetizer everyone will love. Make these paleo plantain pinwheels your next party hit!
