Simple and Clean Apple Pie Granola

To make apple chips

  1. Slice apples using mandoline slicer (on the thinnest setting), then place slices on trays and dehydrate overnight. If you do not have a food dehydrator, place sliced apples on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 225 degrees for one hour, then flip the slices and bake an additional hour to 1 1/2 hours). Cut apple chips into small pieces for granola

To make granola

  1. Preheat oven 300 degrees
  2. Combine the oats, almonds, pecans, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger, salt, maple syrup, apple cider, and melted coconut oil. Mix well to coat evenly
  3. Pour mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spreading evenly
  4. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping the granola at the 15 minute mark
  5. Once granola is cooled, add the diced apple chips
