Healthy and Unique Holiday Food Gifts

28 Nov

When carolers sing about the most wonderful time of the year, they surely mean the food. There’s a reason we gather for the holidays – to eat. I mean, to give. If you have a few food enthusiasts in your life and want to give a personalized and creative edible gifts, check out these healthy and unique holiday food gifts.

An amazing list of edible gifts that are healthy and totally unique! Sure to impress all the foodies in your life. Gluten free, vegan, paleo, and whole30 options for holiday gifting!

Because what says Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah/Kwanzaa like a-buncha food? I rest my case…

Here are 15 healthy and unique holiday food gifts:

For the baker extraordinaire: Simple Mills Baking Mixes
For the gluten-free paleo baker - Simple Mills. A great healthy and unique holiday food gift!
Not ONLY are these easy baking mixes from Simple Mills gluten-free, they are dairy-free, refined sugar free, and many mixes are made with paleo-friendly ingredients. Cupcakes, bread, cookies, pizza dough, pancakes – you name it, they have it. Healthy baking is not always an easy task, but these clean mixes from Simple Mills gives Betty Crocker a serious run for her money!

For the granola junkie: WholeMe Granola Clusters
Wholeme Granola - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
WholeMe’s soft and chewy granola clusters are anything but tasteless and dry. You’d think they were made with lots of sugar and butter, but NOPE! Simple ingredients like coconut oil, nuts, seeds, honey, and dates make this granola brand a winner! All three varieties are grain-free, gluten-free, soy-free, paleo-friendly and come in large 8 oz bags, or more snack-able 1.5oz sizes. My favorite is the Lemon Berry Chia!

For the nut-butter nut: Jem Raw Organics Nut Butter
Jem Organics - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
These Jem Raw Organics nut butters are more like spreadable crack. Just when you think you can’t love nut butters any more than you already do, Jem creates these Cashew Cardamom, Cinnamon Red Maca, Hazelnut Raw Cacao, and Superberry Maqui Camu varieties that have the most unique flavors for a perfect sweet and nutty drizzle on anything! A bonus – these are made with sprouted nuts, which are better for nutrient absorption and easier to digest.

For the bacon lover: EPIC Bacon Bites
Epic Bacon Bites - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
Bacon-inspired bites with hints of cocoa and maple?! Ummm does that sound like bacon-heaven or what? EPIC  obviously stuck to their namesake when they created an epic version of every bacon-lover’s dream. These bites are not only gluten-free and soy free, they’re made with ingredients you can actually pronounce – the perfect protein-packed snack for healthy snacking!

For the tea-ist: Teamotions Tea
Teamotions Tea - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
Teamotions isn’t like most normal teas you see in the tea aisle of the grocery store. These teas are made specifically with adaptogen herbs to help restore balance and aid the body’s ability to handle stress. With blends like Find Joy, Achieve Clarity, and Enjoy Rest, theres’s sure to be a blend perfect for any tea lover in your life.

For the fruit muncher: That’s It Fruit Bar
That's It - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
The minute you open a That’s It bar, the sweet scent of fruit seriously BURSTS from the package. Pretty much shark bate for any fruit lover. With a simple and clean ingredient list (fruit – that’s it, hence the name), these are sure to be a winner for kids and adults alike. It’s like a way more sophisticated (and better version) of a fruit rollup!

For the health pro: Vital Proteins CollagenVital Proteins - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
If you’ve been hearing the type about collagen lately it’s time to join the club. These collagen supplements from Vital Proteins is the perfect gift for the health nut in your life. Because nothing says ‘I love you’ like beef gelatin. LOL! All joking aside, collagen does wonders for joint health, digestion, and can prevent the signs of skin aging. It’s so easy to add a scoop to coffee, or incorporate it into seasonal recipes like these chocolate chia pecan pie parfaits, paleo pumpkin pie mini marshmallows, or healthy protein moose munch.

For the sweet tooth: Pure Genius Provisions Brownies & Blondies
Pure Genius Brownies - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
Brownies and blondies? ‘Nuff said. But actually there is so much more to these treats than what meets the eye. All Pure Genius desserts are vegan and gluten free and made with beans. But you wouldn’t even know it -seriously. I actually think these taste BETTER than ‘normal’ brownies and blondies because they are so moist! At less than 200 calories per bar, these will not disappoint that dessert-lovin’ person in your life.

For the Paleo-ist: EPIC Bar
Epic Bar - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
If you’ve been following the paleo lifestyle, there’s no way you haven’t heard of EPIC Bars for the ultimate protein bar made with clean and natural ingredients. When you and your crew are ready to start the Whole30 challenge in January, these tasty compliant snacks will be a lifesaver when you need some food fuel in a flash. There are TONS of varieties to choose from!

For the chip addict: Jackson’s Honest Potato Chips
Jackson's Honest - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
You’ll never believe these Jackson’s Honest potato chips, made with simple ingredients like non-GMO potatoes, coconut oil, and sea salt (yeah, that’s it) taste even better than those ‘junk food’ chips. These crunchable yummies are paleo and vegan, but what’s even more impressive is this company’s story on how Jackson’s Honest came to fruition. Plus, who doesn’t love fun colored potato chips?!

For the raw dessert connoisseur: Rawxies Heart Bars
Rawxies - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
Eat your heart out has a whole new meaning with these Rawxies Heart Bars. Plus these just might be good for your heart (and belly) with wholesome ingredients like oats, sunflower seeds, almonds, dates, and coconut. MEAT!!!! This grass-fed, organic meat subscription has meat-lovin’ peeps rejoicing the Butcherbox doorstep delivery service. No running to the grocery store multiple times a month when Butcherbox delivers  7-10 pounds (roughly 20 servings) of frozen meat directly to you. The mixed box comes with a variety of beef, pork, chicken and Whole30 bacon (ok I know that’s pork but I had to point out that this bacon IS compliant!). Merry Christmas – here’s your big ‘ol box of meat.

For the immunity-guru: EPIC Bone Broth
Epic Bone Broth - a healthy and unique holiday food gift!
If you haven’t heard the immense health benefits of bone broth, you’re probably living under a rock. But EPIC bone broths have taken ‘immunity liquid gold’ to another level with flavors like turkey cranberry sage, homestyle savory chicken, beef jalapeño sea salt, and bison apple cider. I pride myself on my homemade chicken bone broth recipe, but THESE blends are pretty dang amazing, and is presented a heck of a lot better than my old mason jars! If you’re looking to impress, Epic bone broths are where it’s at.

For the earthy snacker: Bearded Brothers Energy Bar

These would absolutely make good stocking stuffers (except for the frozen meat – that thawing and sitting in a stocking = no bueno. But the subscription would be great). So many good options for easy gift ideas!
