This easy paleo & Whole30 breakfast is the perfect recipe for delicious breakfast sausages to eat now and reheat for later!




  1. Start by cutting the ends off the plantain and peeling the skin off. If the plantain is ripe enough, the skin should peel off easily. If not, slice the peel off with a knife
  2. Place the plantain into a small food processor or mini chopper and pulse just a few times, until slightly creamy yet leaving a few small chunky pieces. Do not over process.
  3. Combine the plantain mixture, ground turkey, lime juice, diced onions, salt, and pepper. Mix well
  4. Heat a lightly oiled skillet to medium-high and scoop 1/4 cup of the turkey mixture and form into a patty. Place each patty into the hot pan, working in batches
  5. Cook the turkey sausages 3-4 minutes, then flip to cook an additional 3-4 minutes, until the sausages are done throughout
  6. Serve with chopped cilantro if desired
